Sweet and Sour Chicken

1 ½ cups sugar
4 chicken breasts
2 Tbsp soy sauce
Garlic
½ cup vinegar
1 cup cornstarch
2 tsp accent
3 eggs
2 cups chicken broth
7 Tbsp ketchup
Cut chicken in bite-size pieces. Sprinkle with garlic and accent. Set for 1 hour. Dip in cornstarch, then egg. Fry until crisp, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Heat remaining ingredients until dissolved. Pour over chicken in 9x13 pan. Cook for 1 hour, uncovered, stirring occasionally. This is great served with Benihana fried rice.
