Julie Grow’s QUICK Homemade Bread
1. Combine 2 ½ c milk, 2 Tbsp oil, ½ c sugar and heat until lukewarm: warm to the touch.
2. Add and dissolve 2 T yeast (1 package). Let rest.
3. In separate bowl (or mixer bowl) add 6 c flour and ½ t salt. Combine liquid mixture and mix thoroughly. If using a mixer, mix for about 5-8 minutes. If by hand, knead for about 7-8 min. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
4. Knead again for about 3 minutes and form into a ball or loaf form. Placed in or on greased pan and let rise for 20 minutes.
5. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Homemade bread in one hour: from start to finish!!!
