Polish Sausage

Polish Sausage

Chop polish sausage (I use half of a 48 oz. Package and freeze the other half) into bite-sized pieces. Brown in frying pan on high heat with a little onion. (Can use chopped onions, or dried onions reconstituted in hot water.)

Add: 1 large jar sauerkraut

1 bottle tomatoes (or you could use a couple cans of stewed tomatoes)

Cook down. Add ½ cup brown sugar, to taste when you are almost ready to serve.

Serve over rice or leftover mashed potatoes.

This sounds weird, but it really is good
